How We Work

Following an initial referral and free consultation with the parent or carer, we will arrange to meet with the young person. This first meeting will last between 50-60 minutes, during which we hope to gather information about the presenting problem and get to know each other. If the decision is made to go ahead with therapy, we will offer weekly sessions that are reviewed every six weeks. Building a relationship is key to progress and it takes time to build trust. The client can choose to end the sessions at any time, however we encourage them to talk to us about any worries or feedback they might have before deciding to stop.
We are trained to help and understand a whole range of difficulties or issues including:
Feeling unhappy or depressed
Anxious feelings
Disrupted sleep
Eating difficulties
Struggling with gender identity or sexual identity
Relationships with friends or family
Low confidence or self-esteem
Self-harm
Educational pressures
Sexual or emotional abuse
Angry or violent feelings
Sessions are £85 per hour and take place in North and West London
All our therapists are accredited members of the BACP
